About

Hi there, and welcome to developerCasts! My name is Jack Tol (@jacktol), and on this website I publish screencasts on Java development. Each screencast I publish here is around 10 minutes in length, and covers a single technique. For you this means you can sit back, relax, and learn a thing or two without much investment.

I try to make each screencast as practical as possible by explaining concepts using a project that represents a real life problem. You can download these projects at the resource section of each screencast. By downloading the projects you can immediately mess around with the things you learned. You don’t have to do any of the required set-up work. This makes the projects a great starting point for your own work.

Well, that’s all! I hope you learn new things from my screencasts. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact me at @jacktol, or via the contact page. I will do my best to answer your message as soon as possible.
